Why offline matters for kids games
The moments parents reach for a kids game are exactly the moments connectivity is worst: boarding a flight, a long drive, a waiting room with no signal. A game that needs a server turns into a spinner; a game built to run on the device just keeps going. JNH games load everything at install time, so gameplay never waits for a connection.
Offline play has a quieter benefit too: with no network in use there is nothing to stream, nothing to load mid-session and no surprise content arriving from outside — what you checked at install is what your child plays.
Before a trip: a 2-minute checklist
Download the games at home and open each one once — that completes any first-run setup while you still have Wi-Fi. On the road, airplane mode is your friend: gameplay is unaffected, and the store itself is out of reach, so nothing new can be downloaded without you.
What parents should know
Free to download means exactly that — installing costs nothing, and there are no ads anywhere in our games. Some titles offer optional in-app purchases; those sit behind a parental gate, and store-level purchase approval (Ask to Buy on iOS, purchase authentication on Google Play) adds a second lock.

Do JNH games really work without an internet connection?
Yes. A connection is needed once — to download the game from the App Store or Google Play. After that, gameplay runs entirely on the device: planes, road trips and no-signal zones are all fine.
Are the games free?
All JNH games are free to download. Some offer optional in-app purchases (extra content packs), and those are always behind a parental gate — there is no payment required to play.
Do the games show ads?
No — with one exception. 36 of our 37 titles carry no banners, no video ads and no ad networks, and their Google Play pages carry no “Contains ads” label. Kids cooking games 2+ year old is declared ad-supported on its store listing; its game page says so.
Which games should we take on a long flight?
Pick two or three with different rhythms: something creative like Paper Doll DIY or a coloring game, something with clear little tasks like Cake Cooking, and a calm one like Kids Stories for the descent.
